Onion Oats Pakora

Relish your tea with a side of onion oats pakora! A healthy and tasty snack made with tea!


Instant oats – 2 cups

Salt – 1 tsp

Onion – 2 numbers thinly sliced

Chilli Powder – 1 tsp

Ginger finely chopped

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Curry leaves Asafoetida powder – 1 tsp

Chopped Coriander leaves

Water and Oil

Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp


  • To a bowl, add onion, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, asafoetida powder and mix everything finely
  • Add regular instant oats and mix well
  • Then add water and bind them 
  • Let it sit for 10 – 15 mins
  • Heat the oil, then drop small portion of pakora mixture
  • Toss, so all sides are cooked evenly
  • Once it becomes to golden brown remove them

Your delicious and yummy Hot Oats Pakora are ready!
